Owner Spotlight: Tamara Nichol

I’m Tamara Nichol, the proud owner of Tamara Nichol Professional Corporation.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I grew up in an entrepreneurial family in Edmonton, which gave me the confidence to start my first venture in High School. The experience helped me to understand businesses at all phases of their life cycles, and set a solid foundation for my future in accounting.

After graduating from University in 2008, I began to work as an accountant in a reputed public practice. Over a span of ten years, learning the ropes, I realized that entrepreneurs were experts in their field, but needed help with understanding new government regulations and tax filing.

I thoroughly enjoy working with business owners so after being awarded my CPA designation, I decided to pursue my dream of starting an accounting firm. My mission is to alleviate the stress of accounting to let companies focus on what they know best.

I provide clients with an exceptional quality service, on a timely basis, and at a competitive rate. I also strive to be incredibly friendly so that I can build a strong relationship with each client and custom tailor services to their specifications.

I believe that the success of my clients measures the success of my firm, so walking alongside small business owners from start-up and watching them grow and achieve excellence, is rewarding.

When I am not crunching numbers, I love spending time with friends and family. Hiking in the mountains and attending live music concerts are my favorite pastimes.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
