About Tamara Nichol Professional Corporation

Tamara Nichol is the Principal of the Firm, a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 15 years of experience in full-service accounting. Her extensive background in small accounting firms, has led her to have a broad range of experience with numerous industries that includes construction, retail, hospitality, professional services, and manufacturing, among others. Tamara grew up in the Edmonton area, where she was raised in an entrepreneurial family. Having a similar mindset, she started her first business venture in high school. This has allowed her to have an understanding of small businesses in all stages of their growth and empathizes with the issues and struggles they face. Tamara loves working with both new and experienced entrepreneurs and is passionate about helping every business achieve success.

Tamara received her Bachelor of Commerce from Kings University in 2008 and was awarded her CPA designation in January 2017. Throughout the lengthily process of achieving these accreditations, Tamara worked full time in public practice. Tamara has built a reputation as a trusted CPA who provides high quality work by being diligent to the needs of each unique business and individual. She wants to alleviate the stress of the accounting side of running a business by ensuring they are meeting all the financial requirements for their business and are also maximizing their tax savings through tax planning strategies.

When she’s not pulling long hours at the office, Tamara loves spending time with her family and friends, which includes her 6 nephews and nieces. She also actively volunteers in her community.
